Pardusco was the name given to red wines with little color, moderate alcohol content and that traveled well, that is, aged well. At that time they still did not have the designation of Vinho Verde and later to distinguish themselves from these they called it “mature wine from Monção”.
Manual harvest in a perfect state of maturity. Total destemming and cold skin maceration. Long fermentation at low temperature. Fully malolactic fermentation.
Open ruby color. Wild berry and spice aromas. In the mouth it is fresh with assertive acidity. Elegant and fruity finish.
Ideal to accompany salads, white meat dishes and cheeses.
