In 1876, in its current location, the Jack Daniel Distillery was established and registered by the federal government. Today, after 150 years of history, it is the oldest registered distillery in the United States. Mainly made of corn, a little bit of rye, and, of course, barley malt. But the real secret of this Whiskey is in the pure, iron-free water of the Hollow.
