In 1801, the Chivas Brothers opened the doors of their gourmet food emporium in Aberdeen for the first time. They quickly gained a reputation as suppliers of food products and malt whiskeys of the highest quality and their name has become a "synonym for excellence". In the 1850s, they decided to combine smooth cereal whiskey with robust malts to create balanced, smooth, blended Scottish whiskeys. When it was launched in 1909, Chivas Regal 25 years old was the first luxury whiskey in the world. In the early 1950s, a new classic - Chivas Regal 12 - debuted. aging, captivated the American market practically overnight. Later in 1997, Master Blender Colin Scott created a new blend that won numerous awards: Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Gold Signature. Intense in color, dark amber with a rich, indulgent aroma, multiple layers of aroma with traces of nuts, creamy caramel and dark chocolate. A velvety dark chocolate palate that yields elegant floral notes with a slight sweet and smooth smoky aroma. Extremely hot and long finish.
