Cardhu comes from one of Scotland's first legal distilleries. Aged 12 years in oak casks that previously served to age the Spanish liqueur wine Xerez that will make it light and smooth, with a sweet flavor, reinforced by aromatic notes of malt, vanilla and honey. It should be enjoyed pure, with dry fruits.

PRODUCER: Cardhu. The distillery is located in the Speyside region. It was founded in 1811 by John and Helen Cumming, who built their first Kupferdestillatoren on Mannoch Hill, high above the Spey River. In 1893, the famous John Walker & Sons Company distillery was sold today as part of Diageo. However, the taste, character and elegance of whiskey have remained unchanged thanks to the passion, commitment and determination of the team.
PREPARATION DETAILS: The Cardhu 12 Years water is derived from a source or stream. Malt is made from barley containing starch that becomes alcohol. malt factory is the first step in turning barley into whiskey. The cooled wort is then introduced into containers, called backwashing which are usually made of larch, pine or stainless steel, then yeast fermentation is added. For copper distillation stills called "batch distillation" they are used in a particular process. Finally, whiskey is kept for at least three years in oak casks in Scotland, in order to ensure good maturation.
