The wine
Terra Franca Red is a wine characterised for being light, simple and easy to enjoy on an everyday basis. Made by Sogrape Vinhos this range has a White, a Red and a Rose wine.

Tasting Notes
Terra Franca Red has a red-ruby hue and ripe red fruit aromas. In the mouth it . has a very well balanced and lingering flavour with a very elegant finish.

Winemaking
After full de-stemming and soft crushing there followed fermentation and maceration .using pumping-over in stainless steel tanks, at a 25ºC controlled temperature for about 8 days, so as to maximise the fruit and approachable style.

Maturation
Following malolactic fermentation, this wine matured in stainless steel tanks for about 6 months. After this came blend preparation, fining, cold stabilisation and the filtering required for bottling. After bottling it matured in the bottle at a 15ºC controlled temperature for about 2 months, so as to reach the appropriate bouquet and balance to be drunk.

Store
Terra Franca Red should be stored in a dry and cool place.

Serve
It should be drunk young, preferably within 2 years of the harvest. Serve between .14ºC-16ºC.

Terra Franca Red is ideal to serve cold, on its own or accompanying light .meals, salads and snacks, pastas and a variety of cheeses.
