Sandeman Vau Vintage 2000

Sandeman Vau Vintage 2000 WINE is a Vintage Port of exceptional quality and contemporary style, which can be consumed with pleasure when young or after aging.

TASTING NOTES: Sandeman Vau Vintage 2000 is a deep ruby, red and opaque Port. It shows an enormous wealth of aromas of red, fresh and juicy fruits. In the mouth it is a very full-bodied and complex wine, with flavors rich in plums, strawberries and spices, well harmonized by a good structure of soft but firm tannins. This structure is the solid base that will allow you to age for several years.

STORE: The bottle should be stored lying down, in a place sheltered from direct light, with constant humidity and temperature between 16ºC-18ºC.

Although the Sandeman Porto Vau Vintage 2000 was produced to be enjoyed as a young man, it is a Vintage and will also age well for 5-15 years.

SERVING: If aged for more than 5 years, the Sandeman Porto Vau Vintage 2000 may need to be decanted. To do this, place the bottle on top for a few hours and then carefully remove the cork. Slowly pass the clean wine to a clean decanter or bottle, without letting the dregs pass.

Serve between 16ºC-18ºC. Once opened, it should be drunk in 2-3 days.
