Burmester Vintage 1995
In 1730, Henry Burmester and John Nash founded Burmester & Nash in London, dedicated to the grain trade. Later, in 1750, already in Vila Nova de Gaia, they started exporting Port Wine to Europe and the British Isles. The family name comes from the small town of Moelln, in northern Germany, deriving from the title Burgomestre, which means head of municipality. From generation to generation, Burmester and Gilbert stood out for their rigor and knowledge that they devoted to Port Wine, raising the Burmester name to the highest level of quality and international recognition.
