Gin Sylvius

Gin Sylvius is a handcrafted gin, produced in small batches at one of the oldest Dutch distilleries at Onder de Boompjes in Schiedam, which dates from 1658. It is described as a modern look at Dutch golden era botanists and a tribute to the man who first he registered a juniper distillate called Genievre, the physicist and scientist Franciscus de le Boe Sylvius.

Color: Sylvius Gin has a clean and transparent appearance

Smell: delicate, rich in fresh aromas of lemon, juniper and angelica

Taste: subtle flavors of star anise, lavender and kummel and a very long finish

PREPARATION: Issued at birth 9 botanicals: juniper, lemon peel, orange peel, cinnamon, angelica, coriander, lemon, cumin and licorice. These are macerated in neutral wheat alcohol for four days before distillation.
