American Brooklyn Gin is produced by Emil and Joe Santos at Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery, the first distillery to receive a license in New York since the prohibition of alcohol during the "Prohibition" in 1900.
The great virtue of Brooklyn Gin is that all its preparation is made by hand, from copper stills for distillation, to all the ingredients used - only the best botanists and fruits bought locally.
The process begins with a neutral spirit, made entirely from New York corn; this is infused with hand-fractured juniper berries, freshly cut citrus skins and other vegetables.
During tasting, Brooklyn Gin Small Batch offers a clean and balanced structure, with a crystalline appearance, as well as lively notes of fleshy and juicy fruits, supported by a juniper backbone, which lasts in a pleasant, soft and dry finish.
