Winemaking:
These grapes come from an ancient vineyard, with more than 100 years, planted with 34 different varieties. The "Vinha da Coroa" is located in one of the highest places in Quinta do Vallado, as a crown above all other vineyards. Thus, its name, "Crown". The grapes ferment for 14 days in stainless steel vats, 50% of them with stems and without crushing. After a 14-day fermentation period with very little extraction, the wine aged for approximately 18 months in second-year French oak barrels.
